Kathleen Clare Lubiejewski Obituary
(Nee Flood) Born to Eternal Life on August 15, 2023 at the age of 81 years old. Beloved wife of Leo for 58 years. Loving mother of Lynn (Brad) Williams, Lori (Jeff) Heisdorf and Tracy (Jeff) Lemieux. Proud grandmother of Jimmy (Gabs) and Katie Kolz, Marlee and Macy Williams, Hannah and Joshua Heisdorf, and Jordan and Maddie Lemieux. Dear sister of Jerry (Nancy) Flood, Jim (Cathie) Flood, Mike (Pauline) Flood and Bob Flood. Dear sister-in-law of Evelyn Winefeld. Further survived by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Kathy loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a dedicated and very involved member of St. Mary's Parish where she distributed Communion to homebound individuals, volunteered at a homeless shelter, and sent cards of encouragement to people in need. Kathy also worked with special needs students while working as a teacher aide in the Menomonee Falls School District for over 16 years.Kathy and Leo loved being "snow birds". They visited Orange Beach, Alabama yearly where Kathy loved collecting seashells from the ocean. Her passion for gardening was evident in all of the amazing landscapes that she created. Additionally, Kathy enjoyed collecting and sharing family lineage information through her genealogy work.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at St. Mary Catholic Church, N89 W16297 Cleveland Ave in Menomonee Falls from 9AM until the time of the Memorial Mass at 11AM. Final resting place St.Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Relevant Radio (a Catholic based organization that meant a lot to Kathy) and/or Menomonee Falls Cancer Care Center would be appreciated.
Our family would like to extend a special thanks to Kathy's many friends for their support, especially Nancy and Ken. We would also like to recognize Dr. Alqwasmi, the nurses at the Menomonee Falls Cancer Care Center, The staff at The Gables and Allay Hospice for providing loving, compassionate care for both Kathy and our family.
