Jeanette Mildred Weisman Obituary

Jeanette Mildred Weisman (nee Swanson) died January 13, 2023. She was born on December 18, 1923 to the late Ole (Alfred) and Amanda (nee Baehring) Swanson, formerly of Slinger, WI. Jeanette married Hobart William Weisman on February 12, 1949.

Jeanette worked for 37 years at Wisconsin Electric Power Co. After retirement, she and Hobie moved to Cherokee Village, AR, where they enjoyed golf, catfish, BBQ, and a milder climate for 35 years. Jeanette enjoyed sewing, baking, reading cookbooks, and writing poems for friends' birthday cards.

She is survived by her children, Carole (Peter DeRubeis), Kay Weisman, and Jim (Cathy Siebert); Grandchildren, Charlie DeRubeis (Erin), Andrea DeRubeis (Kyle Janikowski), and Alex Weisman. Further survived by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Jeanette is preceded in death by her husband, Hobart Weisman; sisters, Blanche Kishner (Leonard) and Delores Honeyager (Robert).

Many thanks to each and every person on the caring staffs at Froedtert and The Lutheran Home, as well as Hart Park Square, who all helped us through this very senior year.

A memorial service for family is being planned for late spring.
