James A. Grzanna Obituary
Of Menomonee Falls, died on January 25, 2023, at the age of 79. Jim was born in Milwaukee on March 19, 1943, a son of Roy and Frieda (nee Zelloth) Grzanna. Jim was an entrepreneur at heart. He owned and operated Vennes Auto Repair in Milwaukee and Jimbo's Tavern in Menomonee Falls. After twenty-five years of dating, he married the love of his life, Kerry Kraemer on December 15, 1996. Jim was an avid race car fan. For over forty years he could often be found racing at the Slinger Speedway as well as the Columbus Speedway. He was a remarkably kind, easy going, and generous person. Jim had a quick wit and a sense of humor. He enjoyed being spontaneous that at times would get him into "trouble," as he would start a food fight while dining out. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. He proudly served his country in the Army Reserves.
Jim will be dearly missed by his wife, Kerry; son, Troy (Cindy) Grzanna and their children Blake and Faith;son, Trevis Grzanna, and his son Preston; niece, Tammy (Joe) Riebe; nephew, Rob (Lindsey) Kraemer; brother-in-laws, Bob (Debbie) Kraemer and Christopher (Kris) Ratajczyk. Jim is further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The visitation for Jim will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, from 3:30PM until the time of the casual celebration service at 5:30PM, at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
