Gene L. Thornton Obituary
Went home to the Lord on March 11, 2022. Age 87 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice and his son, John. Loving dad of Daryl (Amy), Kari (Tom) Larsen, Traci (Tom) Dougherty, and Trudi (Jeff) Miller. Proud grandfather of Emily (fiancé Curt Schoob) and Ian Thornton, Nicole (Sean) Staroselic, Janell Hetzel, Zack Baxter, Kellie Youngwirth, Amanda (Brian) Zavadil, Bryan Miller and great-grandpa of Kayla (Darian) Stark, D.J. Staroselic, Mackensie Staroselic, Abigail Staroselic, Connor Staroselic, Anthony Woodley, Raena and Nicholas Mantanona, and Sydney Kerr. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Gene will be held on Thursday March 17 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls from 10 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 12 Noon. Entombment will follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are appreciated.
