He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hugo and Marion Luella Helms (Runge); and his brother Barry Helms. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his sons, Tony Helms (Lindsy), Cory Schlafer (Stacie) and Erik Schlafer; his grandchildren, Collin, Breanna, Grayson, Jacob, Emma and Zach; his great grandchildren, Evan and Lorelai; his pet Sage; and his friends, Tom, Colleen Brazee, Jeff Walsh and Stephanie Denson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
