He was predeceased by: his siblings, George Carpenter (Anna), Elizabeth Armstrong, Marion Porter and Matie Carpenter; his brother-in-law Anthony Lipinksi; and his nephews, Earl and Kenneth Carpenter.
He is survived by: his sisters, Louise Lipinski of Lone Rock, Ruby Carpenter and Peggy Carpenter; and his brother-in-law Clarence "Sonny" Porter of Arena. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
