She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Hernigle and Irene Ida Hernigle; her niece Judith Anne Jopke (Larry); her great-nephews, Peter Jopke (Angie) and Michael Jopke (Lea); her great-niece Lisa Hurley (Steve); and also, Jordan Jopke, Ethan Hurley, Henry Hurley, Gavin Jopke, Jessica Jopke and Gabriella Jopke.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
