He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Griep and Esther Griep; his siblings, Edwin Griep, Clara Ullmann and Pearl Ripke (Peggy); and his great grandchild Zayden Ray Kremer Weber.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Bandt; his children, Sandra Smith (Tim), Debora Castellano (Jim), Laurie Kremer (Dave), Teresa Hederer (Jeff) and Rick Griep (Mary); his great grandchildren, Riana (Smith), Randy Carolfi Jimi Genett, Morgan Jodi, Jim Boehmler Nicole, Jamie Weiler Adam, Marie Walsh Gavin, Colin Sara Walsh Dallman (Jacob Karbowski Damon), Bryan Rank Kamryn Braylon and Alisha Griep Arianna Travis; his sisters, Doris Martin of Ladysmith and Bonnie Weix of Spencer; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Bandt and Clayton Carter of Minneapolis, MN.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
