It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin E Schmidt (Marshfield, Wisconsin), who passed away on February 23, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Erwin Schmidt and Dorothy Schmidt (Conrad); his son Rob; his brothers, Gilbert and Eugene; his wife Dolores; his sons, Douglas (Lucy), Jay (Sandy) and David; his grandchildren, Tim (Grace), Cody (Jackie), Michelle (Derek) and Jennifer; his great grandchildren, Trinity, Emma and Sawyer; his sisters, Audrey Venzke and Dolores Venzke (Tom); and his sister-in-law Violet Schmidt.
Eventually this all came to an end when the effects of Parkinson's became too much of a burden.
