She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Schaefer and Cecelia Schaefer (Gessert); her spouse Robert G. Nelson; and her brother Rueben Schaefer. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Dyer (Raymond) of Elizabeth, CO, Debra Sutton (James) of Pittsville and Gerald Nelson of Marshfield; and her grandchildren, Brian Hansen (Sara), Rob Hansen (Cindy), Nicole Schenck (Jay), David Dyer (Karol), Kimberlee Kane (Bud), Kristine Phillips (Jesse), Katie Boehlke (Adam), Jennifer Krueger (Chris), Michelle Nelson (Brett) and Jessica Ehret (Brad). She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
