He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Nelles and Esther Nelles (Michels); his brothers, Harold and Dwaine; and his pets, Sassy and Aki.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Ann Weber; his wife Peggy Geldernick; his children, Maria Keenan, MD (Owen) of Marshfield, Jane Rux (Ken) of Mosinee, Mark Nelles (Tammy) of Marshfield and Tanya Frost (Cassie) of St. Point; his grandchildren, Samuel VanHaren, Sara VanHaren, Jessica Skierka (Jason), Allison Scheibe (Andrew), Miranda Rux, Mariah, Madison, Tanner, Tyler Nelles and Kaitlyn Leach; his great grandchild Adalyn Schiebe; and his siblings, Edward Nelles, June Ringstad (Howard) and Ethel Roggenbauer (Emil). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting memorials in Jerry's name to be given to a charity to be determined at a later date.
