He is survived by: his brother Curtis Gilson (Dorothy); his nephews, Craig Schultz (Dawn) of Elk Grove, Brad Schultz (Sheri) of Bettendorf, Rodney Gilson of Elgin and John Gilson (Melissa) of Melbourne, Florida; his niece Julie Cleveland (David); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kira, Karissa Schultz, Keresha Kellog (Josh), Spencer, Marshall Cleveland, Katelyn, Bricelyn Schultz, Sierra, Shawn Gilson, Bobby, Becky Wright and Jadyn Gilson.
