She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Marbes and Cecile Marbes (Marineau); her former husband Lynn Ruggles; and her siblings, Tom Marbes and Lois Kniskern.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Goings of Amity, OR, Kris Coltson (Tim) of Battle Creek, MI and Kelly Friedrich (Jason) of Sheridan, OR.; her husband John; her siblings, Ken Marbes (June), Donald Marbes (Donna) of Menominee, David Marbes (Linda) of Marinette and Annette Francour of Menominee; and also, Lea Scott (Rick) of Appleton, WI, Evan Lord of Richland Center, WI, Beth Lord of Ithaca, WI and Lisa Koshutta (Duane) of Janesville, WI.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; three step grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren.
She knitted hats for cancer patients and donated them to local hospitals. She also made lap blankets and donated them to nursing homes.
