Helen R. Schmitt Campbell Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen R. Schmitt Campbell (Marinette, Wisconsin), born in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 8, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hemminger and Elsie Hemminger (Eick); her former husband Roger Schmitt of Marinette; her husband Henry S. Campbell; her siblings, Elvira Vieth, George Hemminger, Dolores Hemminger, Arlene Bintz, Joyce VanCourt and Rodney Hemminger; and her siblings-in-law, Lloyd Vieth, Jack Anderson, Clem Bintz, Roger VanCourt, Robert Delgoffe and Anita Hemminger.

She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Kloida (Steve Zuelke) of Peshtigo, Tari Kobriger (Robert) of West Chicago, IL and Lisa Schmitt of Peshtigo; her stepchildren, William Campbell of Elkhorn, WI, David Campbell (Johanna) of Marinette and Claudia Campbell of Marinette; her grandchildren, R. J. Kobriger (Rachel Pioch), Nick Kobriger, Derek Kloida (Alina) and Trevor Kloida (Lashea); her great grandchildren, Tierra, Ayden, Neveah, Tyrah, Venezuela, Winter, Joseph-James, Jacyhele, Mylen and Soryn; her stepgrandchildren, Eric (Mindy), Ryan (Annie), Brooke Weycker (Sam) and Tara Goral (John); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Collin, Courtney Campbell, Krista Golnick (Logan), Carter, Owen, Aiden, Wyatt Weycker and Noah Sepke; and her sisters, Annette Anderson, Leora Delgoffe of Marinette and Joan Strojny (Don) of Peshtigo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Any memorial donations are suggested for Trinity Lutheran Church and School.

Sandra Fernstrum wrote a sympathy message

“We are so sorry to hear about Helen's passing. She will be missed. We spent many happy times with them both, We did several cruises with them and other trips. They were the reason we landed up buying our condo on Marco Island. They invited us to come down so many times that we thought we should buy our own condo. I played golf a lot with Helen and we both got our Hole in One in the same summer. We had so much fun . We are sorry we can't be there. Paul and Sandy Fernstrum”
