She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Hanson and Emma Hanson; her husband John "Jack" Fifarek; her son Stephen Fifarek; her grandson Scot Fifarek; her siblings, Lorraine Mechalson and Robert Hanson; her siblings-in-law, Roger Burns, Kenneth "Buzz" Mechalson and Nancy Hanson (Staal); and her nephew Ralph Mechalson.
She is survived by: her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ian, Alec Greenlund, Allison Lancour, Conner, Carly Fifarek, Joseph and Leanne Bullington; her children, Catherine Urbanek (Urbanek) of Marinette and James Fifarek (Anita) of Menominee; her grandchildren, Chris Fifarek of Marinette and Michele Bullington (David) of Knoxville, TN; and her sisters, Marge Burns of Marinette and Shirley Hubert (Don) of Menominee. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
