Erwin J. Kettner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erwin J. Kettner of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Erwin J. Kettner to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kettner and Marcella Kettner (Zeman); his wife Pauline Cichantek; his parents-in-law, Andrew and Ella Cichantek; and his siblings-in-law, Jeanette Leitermann (Francis), LaVerne Leitermann, Donald Cichantek (Yvonne), Robert Cichantek, Patricia Thorison (James) and David Howell.
He is survived by: his son Mike Kettner; his grandson Shawn Ploeckelman (Erica); his great grandchildren, Isaac and Addison Ploeckelman; his sisters-in-law, Nancy Howell of Manitowoc and Helen Cichantek of Manitowoc; his close friend Jane Kuchenbecker; and also Cheryl Ploeckelman (Bill). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (502 N 8th St, Manitowoc, WI 54220). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in Erv's name.
