He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Koch and Laura Koch (Baum); his wife Orlean Alice (Arndt); his sons, Ralph and Kenneth; his siblings, Ruth, Carol and Harold; and his grandson Scott.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey (Lori) and Steven (Michele); his daughter-in-law Cathy McKenzie; his sister-in-law Charlene Dunst; and his grandchildren, Jason (Teresa), Rebecca (Ken), Paul (Samantha), Lauren (Jon), Alex (Radhika), Harrison (Madalyn), Alexis (Jeff), Aaron (Kellie) and Madison. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
