He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Paplham and Erna Paplham (Lutien); his grandson Adam Paplham; his siblings, Kenneth Paplham, Ethel Sorensen (Ernie) and Meryl Staab (Ernie); and his siblings-in-law, Jane Kulhanek Gruetzmacher, Dickie Nimmer, Jim Kulhanek and Todd Gruetzmacher.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Huber; his stepsons, Bennett and Elliott; his stepgrandchildren, Justin and Jenna; his great grandchildren, Bentley and Kaysen; his sisters-in-law, Carol Paplham, Shirley Zuege and Doris Nimmer; and also, Cole, Logan, Connor, Austin, Collin, Kali, Kody, Brock and Chase. He is also survived by five children.
