He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Perry and Dorothy Wheeler (Hermanson); his wife Frances Lawell Wheeler (Mengo); his stepson Mike Vincent; and his siblings, John Wheeler and Sandy Wheeler.
He is survived by: his son George Wheeler (Lisa Ramig) of Kenosha, WI; his stepchildren, Jeff Vincent (Virginia) of Oconto Falls, WI and Kelly Fredrickson (Howard) of Stephenson, MI; and his sister Barbara Wheeler-Cornett (late Robert) of St. James, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
