With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theresa F. Verhagen of Kaukauna, Wisconsin, born in Little Chute, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 12, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Adrian Pynenberg; her husband Paul Verhagen; her son Joe; her son-in-law Dave Hash; her stepmother Gen Pynenberg; her siblings, Bernice Strobel (Melvin), Dot Evers (Harry), Marion Schroth (Ray), Rosemond Schmitzer (Wes) and Norb Pynenberg (Rosalie); her stepsister Nancy Schreiter (John); her parents-in-law, Harry and Christine Verhagen; and her siblings-in-law, Joseph, Joe Verhagen, Earl Verhagen, Richard Verhagen (Blanche), Mark Verhagen (Irene), Ruth Rosin (Ervin), Leone VandeHey (Fritz) and MaryJean Van Lanen (Gene).
She is survived by: her children, Paula Hash, Jay Verhagen (Judy), Keith Verhagen (Lori), Ken Verhagen and Sara Weyenberg (Pat); her grandchildren, Paul Verhagen (Jolene), Laura Schmidt (Randy), Sam Verhagen (Emily), Rachel Wittman (Jake), Anne Wittman (Micah), John Weyenberg (Holly) and Kate Bentley (Blake); her great grandchildren, Noah, David Verhagen, Natalie, Mason Schmidt, Wade Verhagen, Colton Wittman, Grace, Samuel Wittman, Danny and Archie Weyenberg; her daughter-in-law Chris Verhagen; her brother Dan Pynenberg (June); and also Audrey.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our sister Paula for welcoming mom into her home during Covid without hesitation and taking the most wonderful care of mom.
In lieu of flowers, the family will make donations to a few of mom's favorite charities.
