He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kamps and Josephine Kamps (Maas); and his siblings, John Kamps (Marie), Bob Kamps and Rosie Borree (Dick).
He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Kamps (Hermsen); his children, Steven Kamps (Tammy), Phillip Kamps (Ann), Douglas Kamps (Suellyn), Lorraine Miron (Jim), Anthony Kamps (Nikki) and Monica Lobenstein (Brad); and his sister-in-law Bonnie Kamps. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
