He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Arnoldussen and Lucy Arnoldussen (Bowers); his former spouse Angel; his wife Catherine; and his siblings, John, Gladys, Bernice, Gerald, Clayton, Genevieve, Theresa, Eunice and Dale.
He is survived by: his children, Tammie Kruse (Ron), Dean Arnoldussen, Shelly La Violette (Gary), Robin Arnoldussen (Stacy), Keith Kroll (Stephanie), Sean Arnoldussen (Susan) and Brian Arnoldussen (Yvette Krause); his grandchildren, Bradley, Austin, Jennifer (Heartbeat), Geoffrey (Stacey), Justin, Matthew (Brooke), Samuel, Seth, April, Sylvia, Carol Ann and Tina; and his siblings, Phyllis Van Deraa, Sister Mary Arnoldussen and Ervin Arnoldussen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy, memorial donations in Joseph's honor can be made to Shiloh Assisted Living for their community programs.
