With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth E. Braatz of Janesville, Wisconsin, born in Whittemore, Iowa, who passed away on September 15, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Braatz and Olga Braatz (Huellen); her siblings, Werner Braatz (Louise), Laura Braatz, Louis Braatz, Margaret Gingerich (Clyde), Dorothy Bender (James) and Robert Braatz; and her brother-in-law Rev. Erwin Vaudt.
She is survived by: her sister Ella Vaudt of Foley, Minnesota; her nieces and nephews, Mary Waite, Betty Chirsterson, Sharon Meggison, Jean Mersiovsky, Steven Vaudt, Rebecca Telander, Katheryn Walter, Thomas Vaudt, Jonathon Vaudt, Mark Bender, Michael Bender, James Bender, Jeffrey Bender, George Bender, John Bender and Joseph Bender; and her friends, Roger, Diane Krause, Ione Erlien, Charlene McKittrick and Ruth.
