He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Williams and Marian Williams (Mondi); and his brothers-in-law, Scott Jason and Richard Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Julie A. Barrette; his son Michael Barrette (Amanda); his grandchildren, Haily, Lizzy and Indy; his son Nicholas Barrette (Shanda); his grandchildren, Reagan and Lily; his siblings, Ralph Williams Jr. (Colleen), Mary Frances Sackley and John Williams (Nancy); his mother-in-law Roberta Hines; and his siblings-in-law, Eileen Hines, Iva Lipke (Ron), Maggie Kennedy, Teresa Ludeking (Kurt), Mary Ellen O'Leary (Bill) and Joseph Hines (Marianne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
