With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary I. Kersten of Janesville, Wisconsin, born in Milton, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 4, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Amble and Edna Amble (Helgesen); her spouse Russell R. Kersten; and her sisters, Elaine Brown and Mavis Benash.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Kersten (Cindy) and Beth Pillard (Joe); her grandchildren, Ross Kersten, Meredith Preece (Andrew), Allison Stalsberg (Matt), Rachel Siefert (Drew) and Hannah Cawkins (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Layton, Sawyer, Elliott, Oakley, Luka, Beckett, Sutton, Callum, Lennon and Boden; and her brother-in-law Ervin "Sonny" Brown. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
