It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles E. Schimek of Janesville, Wisconsin, born in Easton, Minnesota, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Schimek and Madeline Schimek (Willette); his wife Donna Lines of Marion, IA; his former wife Catherine J. Buchholz; his daughter Susan M. Alt (Schimek); and his grandson Jesse C. Scarborough.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Schimek (Theresa) of Florissant, CO, Douglas Schimek of Wallace, MI, Laureen Scarborough (Robert) of Janesville, WI and Alese Larson (Paul) of Plymouth, MN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the St. Williams Catholic Church, Janesville, Wisconsin.
