It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Courtney of Janesville, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Michael and Helen Michael (Ullrich); her siblings, Betty Erdman, Ross "Red" Michael and John Michael; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Michael, Delores Michael, Roger Augustine and Robert "Bob" Erdman.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Herman (Jon), Ed Courtney (Joyce) and Bekki Geiger (Jake); her grandchildren, Courtney Pivotto (Kevin), Michael Herman (Kara Kerscher), Elizabeth Rynders, Amanda Courtney, Abby Harnack (Collin Sams), Emma Courtney and John Courtney; her great grandchildren, Zac, Izzy, Zoe, Joey, Murphy and Dax; and her sisters, Joann Marsden and Dorothy Augustine. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
