He is survived by: his wife Marianne Tamminen; his daughters, Tracey Atkins Long (Jeffrey), Emily Atkins Meckel Ferris (David, Jr.) and Katherine Tamminen Atkins; his grandchildren, Connor, Evan Long, Ellie Claire and Devin Ferris; and his sister Bette Edgar (John). He is also survived by nieces, and a nephew.
