She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Erickson and Marion Erickson (Hoidahl); her husband Tim Heffernan; and her sisters, Corrine Youngberg and Claire Thompson.
She is survived by: her sister Cathy Hanson; and her children, Joyce Masyga (Dick), Nancy Crowe (Dallas), Mary Sander (James), Laura Lindquist (John), John Heffernan (Lori), Colleen Christenson and Jennifer Jackels (John). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandsons.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a favorite charity in Carole's name.
