It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Bomkamp of Hayward, Wisconsin, born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on July 29, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Bomkamp and Clara Bomkamp (Fincutter); and his brothers, Jim, Tom and Ted Bomkamp.
He is survived by: his daughter Amber Miner of Gurnee, IL; his grandchildren, Spencer Dement, Phoenix Stroud, Savannah Stroud and Kaleb Soderberg; and his siblings, John Bomkamp (Jenna Evenson) of Minong, WI, Marilyn Shroyer (Marvin) of Hurricane, UT, Janice Fischer (Jim) of Rice Lake, WI and Patricia Popoca of Waukegan, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials in Robert's name can be directed to Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
