Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Patricia Boyle of Hayward, Wisconsin, born in Shell Lake, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 84, on February 13, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Luther Downey and Beatrice Susanna Rose Nix; her stepfather Oliver Thibadeau; and her siblings, Ruth Moen, Jack Downey, Rev. Ernest Downey Jr. (Sheik), William Downey, Earl Downey and Beatrice Downey (Patrick Boyle).
She is survived by: her husband John; her sister-in-law Denise; her children, Lance Boyle (Denise) of Hayward and Brenda Dettloff (John) of Hayward; her sister Sharon Sheffield of Bruce; her granddaughters, Natalie Jackson, Brittany Kilps, Ashley Martinson (Vince) and Alyssa Breyen (Zachary); and her great grandchildren, Rylie Keller, Rhett Jackson and Sawyer Kilps. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
But most of all, realizing the important role that family has in caring for their loved one in person; taking the extra time to test us for Covid-19 along with our temperatures; for helping family with window visits during Covid lock downs to talk over the phone; or to video chat at any time.
The family is asking that any monetary donations be directed to Hospice in Hayward in honor of Patricia.
