She was predeceased by: her parents, William Freeman and Elizabeth Freeman (Klein). She is survived by: her husband Mark; her son Travis O'Connell (Cynthia) of Newark, IL; her grandchildren, Gwyneth, Vyvienn and Tanner; and her siblings, John Freeman (Wendy) of Rolling Meadows, IL, Jim Freeman (Carisa) of Antioch, IL and Barbara Webb (David) of Arlington Heights, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or Northwoods Humane Society.
