“My grandmother and I never saw eye to eye, and I was highly critiqued due to very different life experiences and upbringings; however, I have always admired her appreciation of style and jewelry and enjoying the nice things in life when you can. For example, getting dressed up for no reason, finding the beauty in a trip to the grocery store or the department store. She was strong willed and stayed a tough cookie until the end. She told my mom that she thinks i might turn out ok.”
