It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Marie Montag of Hartford, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Dietenberger and Lucille Dietenberger; her husband Hubie; her brother Joseph Dietenberger (Bev); and her siblings-in-law, Darnell Wagner and Louise Dietenberger.
She is survived by: her sons, Eric (LeAnn) of Weston and Christopher (Karen) of Slinger; her grandchildren, Nicole, Jacob and Nathan; and her siblings, Gene Dietenberger (Marianne), Jack Dietenberger and Mary Wagner.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union St, Hartford, WI 53027). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Kilian Catholic Cemetery W State.
