He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Theresa Audrey Peterson (Nee Smul); his children, Joel Peterson (Mary), Jan Froschheuser (late Al), Lori Thiessen (late Ron), Paul Peterson (Arlene) and Mark Peterson (Andrea); his grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Heidi, Derek, Jon, Joe, Sarah and Anna; and his great grandchildren, Nolan, Monroe, Jadon, Caleb, Benaiah, Adelaide, Lucille, Ezra and Carter.
