She was predeceased by: her daughter Donna Tischer; her parents, Lawrence Kinney and Henrietta Kinney; and her sisters, Arlene Brown (Russell) and Lorette Franckowiak.
She is survived by: her sons, Tom Tischer (Sabina) and Tim Tischer (Lisa); her husband Ralph Tischer; her grandchildren, Stacy Elkins (Byron) and Kate Tischer; and her great grandchild Zoey Elkins.
