Catherine Fischer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Fischer of Greendale, Wisconsin, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 15, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Catherine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Catherine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her son Mark Fischer; and her sisters, Marge Johnson and Addy Krasmen. She is survived by: her husband James Fischer; her children, Matthew Fischer (Wendy), Michael Fischer (Lyn), Melissa Pietrzak (Tim) and Martin Fischer (Dodie); and her sister Florence. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Milwaukee Wisconsin South Stake Center (9600 W Grange Ave, Hales Corners, WI 53130). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (9600 W Grange Ave, Hales Corners, WI 53130).
