Sharon Jarvis Obituary
On November 15th, in the presence of her family, Sharon breathed her last at the Lawliss Hospice Center in Mequon.
She is survived by husband David, daughters Amy (Jay) and Sara (Neil), stepchildren Jennifer (Matt), Dan (Laura), and Steve. Sharon was a loving and devoted Nana to Chris, Charlie, Lucas, Carolyn (Megan), Tori, twins Abigail and Christian, Brady, twins Sierra and Carsten, Lorelei, Robert, Amelia, twins Harrison and Miles, and Great-Nana to CJ and Oliver. From her childhood in Wauwatosa, then as a Kappa at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, to her days in Glencoe, Illinois and Mequon, Sharon acquired and maintained long-lasting friendships, many of whom she called and connected with daily. Sharon found joy in the simpler things in life but also had a drive and an ambition to learn and grow, excelling at whatever endeavor she pursued from being a fashion model in the 70's working for Marshall Fields in Chicago, to being a docent at Milwaukee Art Museum, and as a realtor earning Rookie of the Year and Million-dollar Sales club 3 years in a row. Sharon loved and deeply appreciated art, beauty, and the finer things in life. She was a beautiful woman inside and out.
Memorial service and reception to be held Wednesday November 23 at 11AM, Cornerstone Church 1187 Falls Road, Grafton, Wisconsin 53024.
Sharon was a dear friend of Bill W. for 36 years. Donations may be made in her name to the New Day Club, Inc. (11936 N. Port Washington Rd. Mequon, WI 53092).
