He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Govek and Josephine Govek; and his brother Joseph (Dorothy). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dorie" Ognacevich (Methodius); his children, Elizabeth Kring (Rollin) of West Bend, Margaret Wollner (Ronald) of Cottage Grove, Andrew Govek (Margaret) of Grafton, Richard Govek (Carrie) of Verona, Edward Govek (Janice) of Grafton, Amy Green (Rick) of Germantown and Joanne Sadownikow (Kraig) of West Bend; his grandchildren, Shaun Kring (Erica), Justin Kring (Heather), Katie Kring, Jacob, Hannah, Olivia Wollner, Alexandra, Danielle, Joshua, Benjamin (Alicia), Mary, Alaina, Melissa Govek, Max, Vivienne Metcalf, Grace, Ava Govek, Samuel, Adalyn Feilbach (Colin), Emma, Lillian Green, Marianna, Isabel, Veronica and Ruth Sadownikow; his great grandchildren, Ella, Eli, Ethan and Nolan Kring; his sister-in-law Josephine Govek; and his siblings, Paul Govek (Ann) and Veronica Schneider (Raymond). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
