She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carney and Kathryn Carney; her stepfather Fred Hill; her brother Gerald Carney; and her former husbands, Kenneth Leszczynski and John Sorensen.
She is survived by: her friend John Sorensen; her children, Alan Leszczynski (Tammy), Julie Ruhnke (James) and Deana Schmidt (Gary); her grandchildren, Michelle Gibbons, Nicole Joosten (Bryce), David Leszczynski, Alex Mentzel and Sarah Mentzel; her great grandchild Noelle Joosten; her brother James Carney (Judy Treskow); her siblings-in-law, Sandy Amundson, Joanne Willie (Bob), Carole Masuhr and Ken Colyer; her stepdaughters, Susan Bode and Jill Hoven (Tim); and her stepgrandchildren, Ryan Bode (Katie), Erin Bode, Zach Hoven and Elise Hoven. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
