He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Sudbrink and Minnie Sudbrink; his wife Veronica Sudbrink; his children, Robert, John (Patti), Timothy (Rhonda), Barb Sykora (Tim), Donna Wendtlandt (James) and Jane Sudbrink; and his siblings, Milda Westphal (Henry), Martin Sudbrink and Lillian Bretschneider (Edwin). He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St Paul Lutheran Church or the American Heart Association are appreciated.
