Mantes of Fox Lake, Wisconsin, born in Mayville, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James G. Mantes and Gertrude Mantes (Biel); and his siblings, Robert, Vivian Egide, Mary Jean Krukar and Marjorie Allely.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene L. Klostermann; his children, Jeffrey (LeeAnn) of Milwaukee, Todd (MaryJo) of Lake Camelot and Lisa Nelson (Steve) of St. Francis; his grandsons, Christopher Mantes, James Mantes (Alyssa), Jonathan Mantes (Jennifer) and David Mantes (Lydia Frias); his great grandchildren, Kaden, Hank, Jack, Charlotte, Jacob, Elizabeth and Emily; and his sister Margarita Wisniewski of Milwaukee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
