It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brian Frank Mitchell of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, born in Canton, South Dakota, who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne James Mitchell and Mary Ann Mitchell (Sturzl); and his sister Mary Jo Schwinger (Dann). He is survived by: his children, Justin Dale Mitchell, Lindsie Mary Winthrop and Zachary James Mitchell; his granddaughter Arya Kristine Winthrop; and his siblings, James Mitchell (Ann), Anne Steele (Scott), Catherine Reeves (Mark), Thomas Mitchell (Anna) and Kristin Brandyberry.

Brian's children will make a charitable donation in his name to one or more organizations that reflect his passions. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Nitardy Funeral Home.
