She was predeceased by: her parents, George Scheit and Edith Scheit (Pagenkopf); and her pet Emily. She is survived by: her husband Gary Riese of Fall Creek; her sister Connie Sagunsky (Gary) of Appleton; her daughters, Keelynn Manor (Jeff) and Shawnda Kaeding (Jamie) of Fall Creek; her grandchildren, Karisa Hadley (Trevor) of Baldwin, Nathan Manor, Julia Kaeding and Jacob Kaeding of Fall Creek; her great grandchildren, Tessa and Kora Hadley; her nephew Stephen Sackett (Jodi) of Appleton; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Brianna and Cameron; and her friend Julie Nelson (Dianne).
Dianne received the Birch-Sturm Fellowship from the Wisconsin Lions Foundation in 1997 and was the first Fall Creek Lion to receive this award.
