He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Gilbert and Lillian Gilbert (Thurston); and his brothers, Richard (Edith) and Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Diana Mae Miller of Fall Creek; his daughters, Anna Boyea (Randy) of Altoona and Lori Olson (Mark) of Eau Claire; the mother of his children Linda Anderson; his stepsons, Don Lindner of Strum and Greg Lindner of Eau Claire; his grandchildren, Lindsay Lindner, Nicole Beaver (Greg), Kyle Boyea, Amanda Olson (Matthew) and Ashley Beason (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Kolton and Carli Beaver; his siblings, Donald Gilbert (Donna), Judy Owens, Alice Steuding, Victoria Brahm (Doug) and Rhonda Sucharda (Dwayne); and his aunt Betty Welter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
