He was predeceased by: his parents, August Liesse and Margaret Liesse (DeGroot); his wife Dolores "Peg" Jakubek; his son Gregory; and his siblings, Anna DeFilippi and Nicholas Liesse.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Liesse, Carol McCarten (Jim), Gary Liesse (Mary), Jeffrey Liesse, Robert Liesse (Janet), James Liesse (Theresa) and Ann Halbert (Gary); his siblings, Lena Ernat, Augie Liesse and Elmer Liesse (Jeanne); and his sister-in-law Mary Jo Liesse. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
