She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Cooper and Iva Cooper; her husband Louis "Speed" Bartz; her sister Rose Marie Burdick; and her sister-in-law Maxine Cooper.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Bareis (Craig) of Sun Prairie, WI, Lynne Severson (Brad) of Edgerton and Greg (Luann) of Roscoe, IL; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Susan Bareis, Ross, Katie Severson, Tyler and Jesse Bartz; and her brothers, Allen and Rollin Cooper (Nancy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, AgraceHospice Foundation, or the Albion Academy Historical Society.
