Kania; his wife Bonnie; his son Andrew Shell of Madison; his granddaughter Piper Shell; and his brothers, Lawrence Shell of Western Spring, IL and Stanley Shell Jr. (Dawn) of Deerfield, IL. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
Memorials are preferred to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
