He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Klein and Edna Klein (Foltz); his daughter Carmen Skarlupka; and his siblings, Janice Pikal and John Klein.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen McManus Wilke; his daughter Camille Klein; his stepdaughters, Andrea Johnson (Tim) and Alyssa Cramer (Scott); his son-in-law Luke Skarlupka; and his grandchildren, Amber, Brooke, Sloan Skarlupka, Beckett, Turner Johnson, Addison and Alexandra Cramer.
