He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Hickethier and Esther Hickethier (Kruckenberg); his daughter Melissa Davis; his parents-in-law, Sverre and Martha Hanson; his brother Bill Hickethier; and his sister-in-law Kathy Snell.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth M. Hanson; his son Fred; his grandchildren, Kathryn Davis (Derick Roth), Lauren Spors (Nick), Dylan Hickethier and April Hickethier (Kortney Fidler); his great grandchildren, Kendyll Stowell-Davis, Melissa Stowell-Davis, Caleb Stowell-Davis, Carson Stowell-Davis and Marley Spors; his brothers, Dennis Balch (Linda) and Bob Allard (Marie); his siblings-in-law, Sandy Anderson (Steve), Ericka Hanson and Bob Snell; and his son-in-law Paul Davis (Ivania). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
